How Do Clear Aligners Work?
Clear aligners gradually shift the position of your teeth over time. Each aligner tray is custom-made to fit your teeth, and you’ll wear your trays for a few weeks before coming back to our office to switch it out for a new one.
Aligners can often achieve the same results as traditional metal braces in a shorter amount of time. However, you’ll need to be diligent about wearing your trays for 20-22 hours per day, only removing them for eating, cleaning, and the rare special occasion. Because of this, we do not recommend clear aligners for children or teens.
