3Shape TRIOS® Intraoral Scanner
While other orthodontists might still use dental putty, our 3Shape TRIOS Intraoral Scanner lets us take a digital impression of your teeth. Our orthodontists use this intraoral camera to take pictures of your teeth, gums, tongue, and the rest of your mouth.
Unlike older dental technology, the intraoral camera has a slim design that allows our orthodontists to view the inside of your mouth from a wide range of angles. We’re able to digitally store, print, or delete the images captured by our intraoral camera.
Formlabs 3D Printer
We use our Formlabs 3D printer to print off models of your teeth right here in our office. This allows us to show you exactly what the inside of your mouth looks like and also helps us develop your orthodontic treatment plan.
Planmeca ProMax® X-Ray
Digital x-rays are the way of the future! With the Planmeca ProMax, we can take an x-ray of your mouth with a fraction of the radiation that traditional x-rays use. A panoramic x-ray machine rotates around your head to take a 360-degree view of your teeth, sinuses, and bone structure. Since panoramic x-rays are more comprehensive than standard x-rays, you won’t need to have them taken as often.
